On this International Human Rights Day, Women’s Manifesto, a Non-Profit Organization has pledged to fight against a serious human right violation, “Sexual Harassment Against Women”. Women’s Manifesto is an initiative by a group of women from diverse backgrounds, who joined their hands together with a vision of holistic development and welfare of humanity in general and of women in particular. Every year, since its inception in 2014 Women Manifesto has been successfully conducting Women’s Summit on different issues and aspects related to women’s development. This year, Women Summit 2022 has launched a campaign on sexual harassment against women which is a necessity of the hour. This three-month campaign put forwards the slogan, “Never be in Silent, Never be a Victim, The Shame falls on the aggressor” and aims to create awareness on sexual harassment against women in various domains like households, workplace etc., and to provide proper guidance on reaching out for help, filing complaints, and to educate on the laws that safeguard women from sexual harassment. It also aims to create a space for new discourses on addressing the issue and forming different strategies to curb the alarmingly rising number of sexual violence against women.
