The renowned gynaecologist DR. PUJA DEWAN has contributed as the Expert-Advisor Gynaecologist and herself features in the comic as a cartoon caricature character with her name credit as DR.PUJA DEWAN*, as a gynaecologist in the comic with the legendary cartoon character Chacha Choudhary.
The book is backed by Government of India as an Essential Guide for Menstrual Hygiene Management under Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan with circulation across all schools in India in multiple languages through Ministry of Women and Child Development; Ministry of Culture; Ministry of Jal Shakti; and The Energy & Resources Institute and is certified under the 75 years Azaadi ka Amritotsav celebration. Comic is published by Diamond Toons.
Showcase of the Chacha Choudhary and Period Comic with Shri Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma ji, MP Lok Sabha BJP (West Delhi); at Jamia Hamdard University by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr M Afshar Alam and H. E. Ms. Bizunet Meseret, Ambassador of Ethiopia on International Women’s Day. Vishwa Hindi parishad and Ayushman Bharat Nyas General Secretary Dr Bipin Kumar also shared it in the 11th National Ayush Conference.
EdCIL (Education Consultants India Limited), under Ministry of Education celebrated the release too. Indian Medical Congress supports the cause. The Comic Book was displayed at the World Book Fair at Delhi also.

Multifaceted Dr Puja Dewan is current beauty pageant winner crowned Mrs India 2022 and Mrs Universe Artistic 2023; a professional singer, social worker and a show host. Recipient of Mumbai Ratan Award for Social Work in Health by Maharashtra Govt and Lord of Records (Health Record) holder with a biographic film to her credit, she has yet again contributed to this social concern.
Dr Dewan is Senior Consultant at Apollo Fertility, Delhi and Noida and is founder of Arcady Women Healthcare and Fertility. With over 25 years of experience, she has worked as lead/ head gynaecologist at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and Max Healthcare at Delhi; and with Nova IVF and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
A double doctor with MBBS and PhD both, she has done her PhD in Medical sciences, Management and Law; is a postgraduate in medico-legal systems, in hospital administration and is also an auditor for National Accreditation Board of Hospitals(NABH). She is a Fellow of the prestigious Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists at London UK.
