Daya Aruna has been awarded Ph D degree for her research work on “Hindi Evam Marathi Dalit Stree Atmakathaon mein Stree – Asmita ka Prashn “. She completed her research under the supervision of Prof. Hemlata Mahishwar, Department of Hindi, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
Daya Aruna published one book and many research articles and presented papers in many International and National seminars. She also visited New York as part of her academic journey. She hails from a rural village in Telangana. She achieved all her success in the midst of financial crisis of the family. She says ‘with the help of Human Welfare Foundation and Women’s Manifesto I finished my PhD for this I am very Thankful to both the Organizations’.
